This Restorative Yoga class uses bolsters, blocks and blankets to support and relax the body, slow the breath and promote calm and ease in the mind. Postures are done in a seated or lying position and are generally held from 3 to 10 minutes with gentle stretches in between each posture. Students will be encouraged to modify, shift position or props in order to relax deeper into a posture. The class ends with a guided relaxation and a short moment of silence for integration. No prior yoga experience is necessary.
